Hammers
Carbo's forging hammers range from 1,000 to 3,000 lbs. and include modern induction heating systems. Carbo has the capacity to produce steel forgings ranging from a few ounces up to 12 lbs., and can produce up to 95,000 lbs. per shift, per day; 475,000 lbs. per week.
Infrared optical pyrometers measure each billet temperature. The system is designed to divert the over and under-heated steel from reaching the forging operator.
Presses
1600 Ton National Maxipres lines include automatic vibratory stock feeding systems, induction heating, and trim press. Each Maxipres can process 126,000 lbs. per week on a single shift.
